What we do
We place engineers into client teams who need to scale beyond what their hiring pipeline can deliver. The difference from a generalist staffing firm is the bench: our engineers come from inside the iBoss delivery practice, so they show up with the habits, code review, branch protection, runbooks, on-call, that the work depends on.
In practice
A client request goes to our staffing team with a role spec, the stack, and the team’s working norms. Within forty-eight hours we shortlist three candidates per role, all of whom have shipped production code in the relevant stack within the last twelve months. The client interviews; we onboard the accepted candidates against the client’s environment, security training, and tooling within the next week. From there the engineer is embedded in the client’s stand-ups, reviews, and on-call. Engagements typically start at three months and renew quarterly. We carry the employment relationship, payroll, benefits, performance management, so the client doesn’t.
How we know
Resource augmentation has been part of iBoss since 2008, and a meaningful share of our engineers have rotated between augmentation engagements and our delivery projects over the years. That’s how the bench stays sharp. ISO 27001 covers background verification, access provisioning, and offboarding, the boring controls that keep an augmentation engagement clean.
