The problem in front of us.
COVID-19 and lockdown deeply affected the client's manufacturing operations. The client needed centralized data storage, authorized access from different locations, data recovery, browsing history controls, website restrictions, blocked personal email access, blocked USB pen drives, third-party access controls, and a smooth transition to new IT infrastructure.
02 / Approach
How we set the work up.
iBoss designed a remote implementation strategy around a VPN server with leased line access, shared folders governed through Active Directory permissions, cloud-based backup, antivirus, firewalls, content filters, and online security and phishing-awareness training for every user.

What we built.
The solution centralized employee data access, provided permission-based shared folders, enabled IT recovery of deleted central-storage data, controlled third-party access, blocked personal email and USB pen drive usage, filtered prohibited websites, and trained users for the new operating model.

What it has held up to.
The solution was implemented remotely in 10 days. Over 250 employees across production, marketing, procurement, and other departments were able to work smoothly from remote and different locations. The client reported zero data loss at employee exits, improved data security, faster backup and storage provisioning, and issues reduced by almost 50%.
