Additional context
Automating enterprise publishing workflows for high-traffic, multilingual content operations.
01 / Challenge
The problem in front of us.
The client needed a platform serving both as a knowledge portal and a common gateway to field offices, directorates, and other websites. The platform needed a public interface and a password-protected knowledge-management section. Requirements included migrating 10 GB of content, organizing and indexing all content, publishing through an integrated CMS, version controls, approval workflows, plain text, HTML, and PDF availability, regular updates with zero errors, SLA monitoring, English and Hindi support using Unicode fonts, and WCAG compliance.
02 / Approach
How we set the work up.
iBoss focused on tested and validated content deployment, extensive search, version and approval control, performance and scalability, a multilingual framework, and professional SRE and maintenance services to guarantee high uptime.
03 / Solution
What we built.
Only tested and validated content was deployed to the destination database. Content moved from source to authoring sites, where it was tested and later deployed to live sites after verification. A dedicated search service application with Search Ranking and Query Suggestions supported fast results. Access, control, and approval were configured by hierarchy, and SharePoint Keyword Syntax Query Language reduced unnecessary server round trips. SRE and maintenance services run 24x7 to ensure continuous failover protection.
04 / Outcome
What it has held up to.
The client can post content to a website with more than half a million daily visitors, manage more than 400GB of database content, verify all content before production through an automated single-click authoring flow, manage different approval workflows and controls, support more than 30 global and regional sites with one internal site in 2 languages, and use immediate disaster recovery failover without data loss.
