MIS Reporting Digitization
Manual Excel MIS reporting was eating 96 to 120 hours a year and risking errors. We built a bot that pulls from Tally and generates standardised reports in under a minute, cutting monthly effort by 75%.

Recurring reports that used to cost days a month now build themselves from the accounting system in under a minute.
01 / Challenge
The problem in front of us.
Manual Excel reporting carried a high error risk and gave no real-time view of team-wise spend, profitability, or billable teams. There was no salary, sales, or expense trend analysis for decisions, and recurring monthly reporting consumed 96 to 120 hours a year.
02 / Approach
How we set the work up.
We extracted data from the Tally accounting software and fed it through an automated bot designed to process income, expense, and employee-salary details.
03 / Solution
What we built.
A bot-driven pipeline automatically generates standardised reports, including team-wise breakdowns, salary-trend analysis, and expense forecasting, straight into Excel, removing manual compilation.
04 / Outcome
What it has held up to.
Monthly effort fell from 8 to 10 hours down to 2, a 75% reduction, saving about 12 man-days a year. Report creation now takes under a minute, 80% of the process is digitised, and human error is gone. The client went on to automate attendance, timesheets, receivables, and invoicing.
