Additional context
A self-service bot that answered the question every employee was asking at filing time, in minutes instead of a queue at the finance desk.
01 / Challenge
The problem in front of us.
The finance team faced high-volume, manual tax computation. Employees needed guidance choosing between India's new simplified regime and the traditional regime with deductions. Manual calculations were slow, error-prone, and pulled the team off core work.
02 / Approach
How we set the work up.
We built a customised AI chatbot, deployed on the client's own server, so employees could self-serve tax comparisons without finance-department intervention.
03 / Solution
What we built.
The Tax Bot collected each employee's income and deduction details, calculated comparative liability under both regimes, emailed results within minutes with a personalised recommendation, handled unstructured tax queries, and gathered feedback.
04 / Outcome
What it has held up to.
Per-employee processing dropped from about 40 minutes to under 2. A single bot handled all simultaneous inquiries, manual calculation errors disappeared, and the finance team shed an administrative burden.
